Anjum Fakih stars in the popular daily soap Kundali Bhagya, which is a spin-off series of the successful Indian drama Kumkum Bhagya. When the original series garnered huge fan base after a long run on Indian television, the makers launched the spin-off of the show produced by Ekta Kapoor. The actor joined the team of the series which first aired in 2017.
Fakih began her career as a model at a young age and the went on to feature in mainstream TV show that shot her to stardom.

-Prior to joining the entertainment industry, Fakih started off as a model at the age of 19.
-Watching television was considered a taboo at her conservative home. When Anjum was in Class 9, her father bought a television set after much persuasion.
-The television actor left her home to pursue a career as an entertainer. “My father wanted us to be well educated. So, in 2009, when I told them about my decision to quit studies and pursue modelling, they were very upset. It was almost like there was an earthquake in my house, and they said that I would have to leave home if I wanted to enter showbiz. I put away my burqa, packed my bags and left home,” she said in an interview.
-Her first job after arriving in Mumbai was of a sales executive in stores, selling perfumes.
-Anjum made her acting debut with Star Plus's romantic drama Tere Sheher Mein.
-The 30-year-old actor has also appeared in shows like Time Machine and MTV's Chat House.
-After gaining massive popularity for her role in Kundali Bhagya, she made her cameo in the fifth instalment of Ekta Kapoor's show Naagin Colors TV.
