Bollywood Stars Celebrate Indian Cricket Team's Victory Against Pakistan

Bollywood stars Ananya Panday and Ayushmann Khurrana celebrated India’s first victory at the Asia Cup 2022 held at the Dubai International Stadium.

The India-Pakistan cricket match was a nail-biter that ended with the Indian team winning by five wickets. The Twenty20 International (T20I) match ended with India scoring 148 runs in 19.4 overs and Pakistan scoring 147 runs in 19.5 overs. Social media has been flooded with netizens congratulating the cricket team and their victory and celebrities have joined in on the festivities.

Bollywood stars Ananya Panday and Ayushmann Khurrana celebrated India’s first victory at the Asia Cup 2022 held at the Dubai International Stadium. Panday took to social media and shared a video of her, Khurrana, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee and Yash Chaturvedi celebrating the victory.

The video featured the actors and celebrities participating in the viral Kala Chashma trend and dancing to the song. Panday wrote in the caption, “Jeet gaya India!”

The video began with the celebrities enacting the cricket match and then breaking out into dance to celebrate India’s victory as people held up the Indian flag in the back. It was a recreation of the Indian cricket team’s celebration after their Zimbabwe tour ended with them winning the third and final One Day International (ODI) match.

Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan had posted the video of him and the team players dancing to Kala Chashma.

Cricketer Hardik Pandya was announced Man of the Match after he helped the Indian team win when he scored a six and defeated the Pakistan team by five wickets. Bollywood celebrities took to social media to congratulate the Indian cricket team and Pandya on winning the T20I match.

Actor Kartik Aaryan congratulated the team and Panday in a tweet. He tagged the cricket player and wrote, "What a knock" with the fire emoji.

Bobby Deol took to social media and wrote, "We bleed blue and proud". He added a congratulatory message to the team and said, "A six to finish the match in style. What a finish."

Aftab Shivdasani asked netizens, "How's the Josh India?" and described the game as an epic contest. Shivdasani called Pandya, Ravindrasinh Jadeja, and Bhuveshwas Kumar's performances in the tournament as stellar.
