Actor Amy Jackson, who is currently in India with her boyfriend Ed Westwick, has been regularly posting updates about their trip on social media. The duo was recently snapped by the paparazzi while stepping out of a restaurant. However, Amy Jackson’s "bold" outfit received some harsh trolling from netizens.

The couple had gone out to lunch on a Sunday afternoon amidst the pouring rain when they were papped. In a series of photos shared by paparazzi's Instagram page, the actor is seen wearing a black bodysuit, low-waisted pants with a matching jacket, and black shoes.

Her boyfriend, Ed Westwick, was sporting a black t-shirt, black pants, and white shoes. The couple posed for the paps with a smile on their faces. However, Amy Jackson not wearing a bra and nipple showing triggered trolls to spew harsh comments.

Social media users swarmed in to leave shrewd comments, criticising Amy Jackson for her clothing choices. One user stated Uorfi Javed’s clothing choices were way better than Any Jackson’s. Another user pointed out that this was India, and there needs to be a limit with regard to her "bold" dressing sense. A third user asked if showing nipples was a fashion now. A lot more comments judged and shamed her for not wearing a bra. Why it really matters to someone whether a woman is wearing a bra or not? If it is hurting your eyes stop seeing them rather than wasting your valuable time and cheap mentality on giving an opinion on something which is not your cup of tea.

Given the veil of anonymity that social media offers, there were a lot of inappropriate and foul-language comments as well.

Earlier last week, Nushrratt Bharucha was trolled for wearing a "short" dress. The comments section was filled with users asking her to wear pants. A few months ago, Esha Gupta was also called out for wearing a dress that revealed her nipples. She, too, was heavily criticised by netizens for her bold choice of outfit.

When is society going to stop dress-policing women? I’ve said this before, and I would say it again until we see a change in society – we are a country that celebrates sculptures and the art of semi-naked women. So, the whole concept of "this is not Sanskari" is just backward and nonsense. It’s just society that needs to stop objectifying and sexualizing women.
