Here are the films and shows that are new on Amazon Prime:

Bhramam

Release date: October 7 

An official remake of the popular Hindi film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Andhadhun, this Malayalam film is directed by a renowned photographer Ravi K. Chandran. The plot revolves around Sam, a pianist and can't see. He gets accidentally mixed in a celebrity’s homicide. In the film, actor Prithviraj Sukumaran will be playing the role of a blind pianist, Raashi Khanna will be playing Radhika Apte’s character and Mamtha will be playing Tabu’s character.

Maradona: Blessed Dream

Release date: October 29 

The 10-episode biographical series will tell the story of the football legend's life from his childhood. It is directed by Alejandro Aimetta and written by Guillermo Salmeron and Silvina Olshansky. The film has been shot across Argentina, Barcelona, Naples, Seville, Italy and Mexico.

Release date: October

A remake of the popular Malayalam film, Ezra, this film will star Emraan Hashmi in the lead role. The story revolves around the female protagonist, played by Darshana Banik, buying an antique box which leads to paranormal activities. In the original film, Ezra, the couple bought the box from a drug dealer. The film is directed by Jay Krishnan. 

Sardar Udham 

Release date: October 16

The film, starring Vicky Kaushal, is a biopic on revolutionary freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in 1940, to take revenge of 1919 Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in Amritsar. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar.

Udanpirappe

Release Date: October 13

A tale about village life, sibling love and their relationship, this Tamil film stars Jyothika and Sasikumar as siblings. The plot focuses on the difference in opinion between Mathangi’s (Jyothika) husband, Sarugunam and Varivan on whether to go by law or fight for justice. The suspense lies in whether Mathangi will be able to unite her family. 

One Mic Stand 2 

Release Date: October

The celebrity list is yet unknown, but the concept of One Mic Stand 2 remains the same as season 1. The show is hosted by four stand up comedians- Zakir Khan, Sapan Verma, Rohan Joshi and Angad Singh Ranyal. They call celebrities from any profession like cricket, actor, politician, etc. Last season, the guest list included names like Sashi Tharoor, Richa Chadha and Tapsee Pannu. 

I Know What You Did Last Summer

Release Date: October 15

Starring Madison Iseman and Brianne Tju, the teen horror drama is based on the 1973 novel, I Know What You Did Last Summer by Lois Duncan. The series is going to be a modern take of the novel. The plot revolves around a group of friends stalked by a brutal killer a year after a car accident in which they killed a man.
