The film Sardar Ka Grandson is already creating a buzz with its unique concept. It stars Neena Gupta, Arjun Kapoor in a special bond.

The trailer of Sardar Ka Grandson is full of belly laughs and grandma-grandson moments. It came out on Wednesday afternoon and the movie is all set to release on the online streaming platform Netflix. The film Sardar Ka Grandson has in it some great actors in prominent roles like John Abraham, Rakul Preet Singh, Neena Gupta, Arjun Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Story of Sardar Ka Grandson

In order to fulfil the last wish of his ailing grandmother, a grandson is ready to cross any borders. The grandson played by Arjun Kapoor is seen arranging things for his grandmother's (Neena Gupta) last wish of visiting her house which is in Lahore.

The young grandma played by Aditi Rao Hydari and the young grandpa played by John Abraham is seen building the house with a lot of love and efforts in the trailer.

The grandma (Neena Gupta) is also seen expressing her memories and attachment to the house she made and lived in. As later they had to leave due to the partition and move to Amritsar, the grandma was not able to visit her house and now she wishes to do so for the one last time. As the attempts to get the grandma to the home fails, Arjun Kapoor starts his efforts towards getting the home to grandma. Which means carrying the whole structure from Lahore, Pakistan to Amritsar, India.

Kaashvi Nair has directed the film. Calling it personal, and a "delectable mix" of her attachment to her grandparents and her childhood home, the director said in a press statement, "It celebrates the unconditional love between grandparents and grandchildren." The film is all set to release on May 18.
