Alia Bhatt Turns 28: Actor Alia Bhatt celebrates her 28th birthday today. Among the many wishes came a note from beau Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor. She wished her "Happy birthday" and called her the "coolest, happiest girl."
Sharing an Instagram story Neetu Kapoor wrote, "Keep inspiring everyone with your positivity and strength. Love you loads." Meanwhile, Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni posted a picture with Bhatt, her sister Shaheen Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan and wrote, "We love you so much." In a separate Instagram story, Alia wrote: "Beautiful doll."
While filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranbir Kapoor have tested positive for COVID-19, Bhatt, daughter of actress Soni Razdan and director Mahesh Bhatt, had on Thursday shared that she has tested negative for the virus.
Mother Razdan, praised her daughter and called her "sunshine". The senior actor wrote, “The art of a people is a true mirror to their minds’ Jawaharlal Nehru. In that case my darling you have a very special mind … may it bloom and grow forever and may you also always like what you see in the mirror Happy Birthday Sunshine ! Love you to bits and pieces and so much that they don’t have a number for that."
Pooja Bhatt, who has recently been seen in Bombay Begums, shared a candid photo of the Raazi actor while she gets ready to shoot and wrote, “The girl I will always see off-screen before she transforms like a chameleon into the dazzling array of women she gives life to on screen! Happy Birthday Alia.. you make us all so damn proud!"
Kareena Kapoor too wished the birthday girl with a photo on her Instagram stories. “Happy birthday superstar, continue to shine like no one can,” she wrote.
On her birthday on Monday, Bhatt unveiled her much-awaited look from the film RRR. Posing in a green saree, Bhatt introduces her character of Sita from the film.
Bhatt and Ranbir are currently working on the film Brahmastra, which now scheduled to release next year.
