On the eve of the grand Animal screening in Mumbai, Alia Bhatt was accompanied by her mother, Soni Razdan, her sister Shaheen Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor's mother, Neetu Kapoor. The film saw its global release on December 1. Following the event, on December 2, Bhatt posted an extensive note on Instagram praising Ranbir Kapoor not just as an actor but also commending his role as a father and husband.
Alia Bhatt recently took to social media to share glimpses of Ranbir Kapoor's public appearance in Delhi during the Animal trailer launch. Alongside that, she posted an intimate moment captured between Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter, Raha Kapoor, where Kapoor was seen reading to her, although Raha's face wasn't visible in the picture, only her tiny feet nestled in her father's lap.
Bhatt wrote alongside the photos, "For all that you are on and off camera. For the patience, silence and love you give your craft and for the person you are to your family. For taking such huge strides as an artist and for literally making our daughter take her first steps today."
Further lauding Ranbir Kapoor's film Animal and his acting, she wrote in her caption, “For completely blowing us away your performance… and for making it all of the above look so easy (heart hands emoji). Congratulations my not-so-little animal (heart emoji).”
During the film's trailer launch in Delhi, Ranbir Kapoor provided an intriguing comparison, likening Animal to an adult-rated version of the iconic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He further explained the essence of the story, emphasising a man's unwavering commitment to safeguarding his family, hinting at the core theme of the movie.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal boasts a stellar cast including Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna. Following its worldwide release on December 1, the film has been making waves at the box office, garnering strong numbers.
