Kangana Ranaut recently commented on Alia Bhatt's upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, calling Alia a 'papa ki pari' and also predicting that her movie will lose Rs. 200 crores at the box office.

She posted on her Instagram stories a week ago, "This Friday 200cr will be burnt to ashes at the box office … for a papa (movie mafia daddy) ki pari (who likes to keep a British passport) because papa wants to prove that romcom bimbo can act… biggest drawback of the film is wrong casting…yeh nahi sudhrenge (these people won’t change) no wonder screens are going to South and Hollywood films … Bollywood is destined for doom jab tak movie mafia has power."

Alia Bhatt Kangana Ranaut Controversy:

Kangana wrote in subsequent stories, "Bollywood mafia daddy papa who has single handedly ruined the work culture in the film industry, has emotionally manipulated many big directors and forced his products of mediocrity on their cinematic brilliance, another example will be following soon after this release. People need to stop entertaining him, in this Friday release even a big hero and greatest director are the new victims of his manipulations"

While Alia was keeping her cool about the matter and did not comment back on any of Kangana's remarks, she decided to break her silence at a recent press conference for Gangubai Kathiawadi in Kolkata. She reportedly quoted the Hindu holy book Bhagwat Gita and said, "Lord Krishna had said in The Gita, inaction in action. That’s what I will say," and ended there.

This is not the first time that Kangana targeted Alia, she had earlier commented on her acting skills and called her a puppet of Karan Johar few years ago. Meanwhile, Alia's Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to release on February 25, 2022. The movie produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali also features Ajay Devgn in a cameo and is based on the novel Mafia Queens On Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi.
