At a promotional event in Hyderabad on Friday, Bhatt a dark pink sharara, with the ‘baby on board’ gold inscription written on her back. When paparazzi asked her to pose for photographs, the actor proudly turned around to give the guests a better glimpse at the message on the back. Besides the ‘baby on board’ message, ‘love’ was also written all over the attire. She paired her look with heavy statement earrings and hair styled in in soft wavy curls.

The event also saw the presence of Mouni Roy, who plays the antagonist in Brahmastra and co-producer Karan Johar, along with RRR actor Jr NTR. The venue shifted to a hotel after the much-awaited pre-release event in Hyderabad's Film City was cancelled at the last moment due to "unforeseen circumstances."

Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and has been in the making since several years. It will release in theatres on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. It is reported that Shah Rukh Khan also has a cameo in the film.

Previously, when Bhatt was questioned on the supposed impact of motherhood on her career, she said, “Why does having a family or a child have to change my professional life? They are two completely different things. I would continue to and prefer to lead by example and action as opposed to giving any attention to nonsensical things. In fact, a lot of decisions that I have made in my life — singular, not in any relation to anyone — have happened when it was least expected.”
