A Reddit user uploaded a copy of the bill, which explains the nature of the contract and the work that the actor did. Rai, who was “about 18 years old” at the time, “accepted to act as a model” for a firm for a magazine catalogue shot, according to the document. Her signature appears at the bottom of the bill, which also specifies that the transaction was performed in Mumbai. Rai’s address was also mentioned in the bill, which was in Khar at the time.
The magazine publisher, Vimal Upadhyay, also shared a few pictures of the magazine shoot on Twitter and wrote, “Hello, Today I am celebrating the 30th Anniversay of the Fashion Catalogue published by me. On the work front, the actor was most recently seen in Fanney Khan in 2018, and she is currently preparing for her next film, Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, directed by Mani Ratnam. The film, which is based on Kalki’s historical novel, will be released on September 30, 2022.
