Adipurush Teaser VFX Criticism
Om Raut's highly anticipated film Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, has been released in theatres after a prolonged wait.  The film, which was announced in 2019, had garnered high expectations among the audience.

Claiming to offer a contemporary interpretation of the Hindu epic Ramayana, the first trailer, released in October of the previous year, received a lukewarm response. The filmmakers decided to refine the visual effects before the film's release.

Despite the initial mixed response, dedicated fans of Prabhas eagerly thronged to theatres across the country to witness Adipurush on the big screen. However, it appears that Om Raut's directorial venture fell short of meeting the fans' lofty expectations.

Netizens took to Twitter, expressing their disappointment through memes and critical discussions, particularly regarding the portrayal of mythological characters and the quality of the visual effects.

Adipurush Twitter Reviews

Prabhas' appearance in the film Adipurush received criticism from netizens, who felt that his portrayal resembled Jesus Christ rather than the expected depiction of Lord Rama.

Saif Ali Khan's portrayal of Ravana also faced backlash, with fans trolling the actor for having a modern hairstyle while the story was set in the past. One netizen shared pictures of Saif Ali Khan's character and compared his hair style to Virat Kohli's.

However, some netizens praised Khan's acting in the villainous role and said he stole the show.

These criticisms reflect the disappointment and frustration expressed by some viewers regarding the visual interpretations of these mythological characters in the film.

While some anticipated that the visual effects (VFX) in the film would be subpar, others expressed their disappointment with the movie's dialogue. They cited examples such as "Teri bua ka bagecha hai kya jo hawa khane chala aaya" (Is it your aunt's garden that you've come to take a stroll?) and "Kapda tere baap ka... tel tere baap ka... Aag tere baap ki".

These critiques highlight the discontent among viewers regarding the quality and impact of the dialogue in the film.
