Sex Education Season 3: Highly awaited British comedy, Sex Education is all set to release its third instalment. Waiting for what feels like too long is finally seems to come to an end.

With Sex Education's latest season, leaving the fans at a cliffhanger, the next season is full of surprises. Fans have got their first glimpse at season 3 with an official teaser from Netflix. They were introduced to some new characters and some familiar faces in an advert for Moordale school.

Here are 10 things we know about Sex Education Season 3:

  1. Sex Education season 3 is officially set to premiere on September 17. Netflix unveiled the release date in June with behind-the-scene photos of the cast.
  2. Season 3 will be helmed by the director, Ben Taylor and Runyararo Mapfumo.
  3. Executive producers include Laurie Nunn, Ben Taylor and Jamie Campbell Bower.
  4. In the announcement on Twitter, the audiences were given a sneak peek which includes some of our favourite characters in uniform, suggesting a big change from previous seasons.
  5. The teaser of the series dropped in mid-July doesn't reveal much about the new season. Although some of the things are brought to light like it Mr Groff is still lurking around Moordale. Adam is back at school, and last but not least, Maeve Wiley has lost none of her withering cynicism.

  7. Jemima Kirke is set to play the new headmistress. Hope, also a former student, who to turn Moordale back into the epitome of excellence it’s always been.
  8. Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Aimee Lou Wood, Tanya Reynolds, Patricia Allison, Mimi Keene, Simone Ashley, Chaneil Kular, Chris Jenks, Jojo Macari, Chinenye Ezeudu, and Alistair Petrie and others comprise the cast of the series.
  9. Asa Butterfield, the protagonist of the show upped the anticipation of the fans by telling them that they "aren't ready" for season 3.
  10. In an interview, he also said that he "wants more of Otis and Maeve", the two protagonists of the series.
