What Katrina Kaif's Management Agency Had To Say About Engagement Rumour

Katrina Kaif Vicky Kaushal engagement rumour: As soon as the news broke yesterday, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's fans started celebrating reports of their engagement. Notably, both the actors have never spoken about their relationship openly, neither did they confirm the news of their impending nuptials. Finally, the team that manages Kaif's work stepped in and offered a clarification on the matter.

Earlier on Wednesday, the news of Kaif and Kaushal's engagement surfaced on the Internet. The speculations about their relationship have been doing rounds for over a year now as the actors are frequently spotted together. According to the latest rumours, the couple had a roka ceremony, followed by an engagement.

Addressing the rumours Kaif’s spokesperson said, "There has been no Roka ceremony. She is leaving for Tiger 3 shoot soon," and rubbished rumours about her and Kaushal's engagement. Amidst the speculations, an old picture of the duo was being widely shared on social media. It shows Kaif in a red lehenga and Kaushal in a white kurta pyjama. The picture was originally from Anil Kapoor's Diwali bash in 2019.

Recently, Harshvardhan Kapoor had unwittingly confirmed Kaif and Kaushal's relationship during an interview. The actor quickly realised that he may have goofed up.

The rumoured couple met for the first time on the sets of a talk show. Later, according to reports, the two started dating after meeting a couple of times. They were recently spotted together at the screening of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's Shershaah. They were also clicked together by the paparazzi at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali party, celebrating Christmas together and at Mukesh Ambani’s grand Holi Party that was held at his Mumbai residence. They were also together in Nick Jonas’ Holi pictures from the same venue.

In an ">interview earlier this year, Kaif said that she is very much single while Kaushal said in a different interview that he doesn't want to broadcast about his personal life because it leads to discussions and “misinterpretations”.  In the interview with Mid-Day, Kaushal, who won a National Award for his performance in the film Uri: The Surgical Strike, had said that dating was a beautiful feeling as there are no negative aspects to it, not mentioning anything about his current girlfriend or her name.

On the work front, Kaif is all set to begin shooting for Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. She also has projects like Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar and horror-comedy Phone Bhoot co-starring Ishan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the pipeline. She will also be starring in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
