At SheThePeople we believe strongly that young people deserve a vibrant space to speak up and share their thoughts. Voices of girls and women deserve to be center-stage.
SheThePeople gets over a hundred contributions a day across the country and many of you ask us for a structured initiative to participate. So as we continue to build this as a platform for change and impact, we are launching a Young Writers Training Program for you to learn, share and join the dialogue.
This program will help young women learn critical skills of writing, research, opinion sharing and present perspectives - all of it over issues and topics that you are passionate and concerned about.

The modern Indian woman/girl wants more from her country, her life, her society, her family and more. What issues need attention? Where can we raise our voice and raise the bar? From sexuality to health, lived stereotypical realities to toxic ">parents, the issues are wide across the board and we encourage you to share and participate on what you feel strongly about.
15 budding writers will get a chance to work closely with the Opinions Team at SheThePeople. Writers will get guidance from our Ideas Editor at every step on how to write opinion columns. This 45-day program will also provide writers with an opportunity to have their work featured on the website in our Opinions Section.
