Vijay Rupani: Class 12 Exams Will Be Conducted, Once COVID-19 Situation Is Under Control
Earlier, the state's education department had made a decision to promote all students from class 1 to 9, and class 11 to the next class.
Recently, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) also decided to postpone the class 12 and cancel the class 10 exams. In addition to this, the board stated that it will make an announcement regarding the class 12 board exam at least 20 days in advance.
The board has also decided on an evaluation criteria for assessing class 10 students. It will now take students’ performance in the internal assessments, half-yearly exams, unit tests and other exams into consideration. However, if a student has secured less than the passing marks, they will be directly promoted to the next class with grace marks.
If there are students who haven't appeared for any of the aforementioned tests, they will not be promoted to the next class.
