The notice of cancellation of the examination can be found on the official website of MPBSE on mpbse.nic.in.

According to the official announcement and the notice available on the board's website, the dates for Class 12 examinations will be announced by the board when the COVID situation improves. Students of Class 12 will however be given the information about the board examinations at least 20 days in advance.

As for Class 10, the board stated that gathering a huge number of students at one place for the examination could result in spreading the coronavirus even more, and hence they have decided to cancel the examinations. It has also released the assessment criteria for Class 10 as no examinations will take place. The board has decided to consider students' performance in the internal assessments, half-yearly exams, unit tests and other exams held during the academic year to prepare the result of Class 10.

If a student is unable to secure the minimum passing marks of 33 percent, they will be given grace marks and will be promoted to the next class.

The students who did not appear in any of these examinations during the academic year, which includes the unit tests and pre-boards will be considered as fail and will be needed to repeat the class in the next academic year.

Many state boards and other boards have also either cancelled or postponed the examination for Class 10, while almost all the boards have postponed Class 12 board examinations.

First, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that they will be cancelling the board examinations for Class 10 and will be postponing the Class 12 examinations. Following this, many state boards like Karnataka, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, and many others cancelled the board examinations for Class 10 and deferred them for Class 12.
