Maharashtra: SSC Exams To Start From April 29, HSC From April 23

Maharashtra government announced the dates for Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate exams for 2021. Varsha Gaikwad, Education Minister of Maharashtra, took to Twitter to share the official schedule of the exams.

एसएससी (इ. १० वी) बोर्डाची परीक्षा २९ एप्रिल ते ३१ मे २०२१ या कालावधीत घेण्याचा निर्णय शालेय शिक्षण विभागाने घेतला आहे. दहावी परीक्षेचा निकाल ऑगस्ट २०२१ च्या शेवटच्या आठवड्यात जाहीर करण्यात येईल. कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर सुरक्षेची काळजी घेण्यात येईल.#sscexams2021#sscexam pic.twitter.com/AXhFsbo9lf

As per the schedule, the SSC exams will commence from April 29, 2021, while the Class 12th or HSC exams will be conducted from April 23, 2021. The results will likely be announced by July and August 2021. 

Class 10 board examination will start end by May 31, 2021. The Education Minister in her Tweet said that precautions will be taken to safeguard the safety of students during the exam sessions.

While announcing the schedule, Varsha Gaikwad has emphasized that complete care would be taken regarding the safety of the students during the examination. While schools in Maharashtra are mostly open for class 10th and 12th students, schools in Mumbai are still shut in the wake of the pandemic.
