IIT Delhi Registration For PG, PhD Courses Ends On April 30

A new notification released by IIT Delhi says that the entrance examination and the interview round will be held between May 17 to June 23.

The application process for PG and PhD courses at IIT Delhi is underway. The candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online on IIT Delhi's official website.

The last date for applying for the courses, along with submission of the application form, and payment of fees is April 30 2021. Earlier, the last date for the entire registration process was April 24, it had started on March 15 this year.

IIT Delhi interview and entrance test to be conducted between May 17 to June 23

Applicants can register for various disciplines such as Applied Mechanics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc, by 4 pm tomorrow.

A new notification released by IIT Delhi says that the entrance examination and the interview round will be held between May 17 to June 23. Earlier, both the rounds were scheduled to be conducted between May 10 to May 23 this year.

Candidates belonging to either General/OBC/EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 200. On the other hand, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories will have to pay Rs. 50. However, the bank charges will have to be borne by candidates.

IIT Delhi has reserved about 15 per cent of its seats for the SC category, and 7.5 per cent of it for ST candidates. 27 per cent seats are meant for Non-creamy layer OBC candidates. They will have to produce the said certificate at the time of admission. About 10 per cent of the seats have been reserved for EWS (Economically Weaker Section).5 per cent of seats in the above categories have been allotted to people with disability.

The surge in COVID-19 cases made the administration decide that the interviews for admission into PhD programme will be done in online mode via video conferencing.
