CGBSE 10th result: The Chattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) will announce class 10 results on Wednesday, May 19.

The CGBSE 10th result will be declared on Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the minister of Chattisgarh Govt school education department. In a press release issued on Tuesday, the Chattisgarh board said that the results of class 10 will be declared online through video conferencing. Students of the said board and class can check their results at cgbse.nic.in and results.cg.nic.in once it is declared.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chattisgarh Board of Secondary Education had cancelled its exams in April 2021. The secretary of CGBSE V.K. Goyal issued a notification regarding the cancellation of the High School Certificate (Class 10) exams for the academic year 2020-21. The notification stated that marks would be awarded to the students based on the assignments the board issued.

If any student does not complete the assignment or does not obtain the minimum passing marks, they will be given the minimum marks required to pass the examination. In case, a student is dissatisfied with the marks awarded, they can appear in grade or division upgrading examination after the situation of the pandemic comes under control.

Over 4,61,000 students have registered themselves for Class 10 examinations this year.

Meanwhile, CBSE has declared that the class 10 board exam results which were supposed to be declared by June will now take a longer time to arrive. The dates for the submission of marks has been extended. On Tuesday, the board extended the deadline for schools to upload the marks scored by the students in the internal assessment.

The new date thus decided is June 30. Earlier the last date to submit the marks was June 11. As per official sources, the results of the CBSE class 10 Board exam are expected to be declared in the first week of July.
