Queen of Pop, Madonna, the iconic singer, recently shared her harrowing experience of battling a severe health scare that led to her hospitalization in June. This revelation unfolded during her recent concert at Barclays Center on December 16, where Madonna, aged 65, reflected on the miraculous turn of events that not only preserved her life but also brought her six children together in a poignant reunion. "When the chips were down, my children really showed up for me. It made all the difference," she said.

The Near-Death Experience

Madonna candidly revealed that she "had to almost die" to gather all her children in one room. The songstress, who is a mother to Lourdes Leon, Rocco Ritchie, David Banda, Chifundo "Mercy" James, and twins Stella and Estere, narrated waking up in the hospital to the anxious faces of her children. The gravity of the situation became evident as Madonna's health scare unfolded over the summer, eventually landing her in intensive care.

"The fact that I'm here right now is the f—king miracle," Madonna exclaimed during her performance. She expressed gratitude to a crucial figure, Sibhan, who played a pivotal role in saving her life. Madonna recounted the terrifying moment when she passed out on her bathroom floor, only to awaken in the ICU. The singer's resilience shone through as she acknowledged the immense support she received from family and friends during her ordeal.

Journey Back to Health

Madonna's hospitalization was attributed to a bacterial infection, an ordeal that could have had dire consequences. Despite the severity of her condition, the singer made a swift recovery, re-emerging on Instagram to express her appreciation for the outpouring of love and support.

American singer Madonna was rushed to the hospital earlier this month after she was found unresponsive, Page Six reported. Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed the health scare via an Instagram statement, saying that she had “developed a serious bacterial infection that led to a several-day stay in the ICU.”

In 2009, she was awarded a Guinness World Record for the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist after completing her Sticky & Sweet Tour.

Madonna grew up in the city of Detroit, Michigan, and moved to New York in 1978 to pursue a career in dance and music. Some of her hits include Into the Groove (1985), Like a Prayer (1989), Vogue (1990), and Hung Up (2005).
