In a recent interview Esha Gupta shared her proactive approach to motherhood and fertility by freezing her eggs back in 2017. This decision was made well before she met her boyfriend, Spanish entrepreneur Manuel Campos Guallar, in 2019. Gupta emphasised that they didn't start dating casually but entered into a committed relationship with the intention of marriage and having children together.

Esha expressed her deep affection for babies and discussed how both she and Manuel are prepared and eager to start a family. She said, "I did the freezing at that time when in India it was really expensive. But I was certain that when it comes to health – anything. These (the eggs) are my kids. I'd rather freeze them when I'm healthy. If I weren't an actor, I would have already had three kids by now for sure, I've always wanted kids, so I think I would have had three" They share a mutual understanding and readiness for the next stages of their relationship, underscoring their shared aspirations for marriage and parenthood.

Mona Singh discussed her decision to freeze her eggs during an interview with the Humans of Bombay. Encouraged by their family gynaecologist, who suggested the idea during a dinner, she found merit in the option. Explaining the process, she highlighted a timeline of about 3 to 6 months, mentioning the potential discomfort caused by hormonal changes, mood swings, and bodily alterations. Singh mentioned undergoing the necessary tests with her mother and completing the procedure in Pune during a break from work.

She said, "My mom and I, we went for all my tests, and I did it in Pune. I took a break from TV. I took a break from work. I wasn't doing anything. I was at home, and in four months, we finished the procedure."

Riddhima Pandit

In September 2022, Riddhima Pandit made her decision, expressing a sense of freedom post-procedure. She credited the guidance of experienced doctors for her confidence and stated that she no longer feels compelled to marry for the sake of having children.

Diana Hayden

Diana Hayden, a former Miss World, underwent the egg-freezing process and subsequently welcomed three children. Her first child was born in 2016, followed by twins in 2018 during her time as a contestant on Bigg Boss 2.

Ekta Kapoor, an International Emmy Directorate Award winner, welcomed her first child, son Ravie Kapoor, through surrogacy in 2019. At the age of 36, she decided to freeze her eggs. Addressing the choice, Kapoor mentioned to Pinkvilla, "I had stored my eggs when I was 36. Had a calling for a long time I don’t know what was it. I don’t know I thought I might get married, might not. Very late, if it happens."

Tanishaa Mukerji

Tanishaa Mukerji, the actor, also opened up about her desire to freeze her eggs at the age of 33 but faced a setback. When she initially consulted the doctor, she was advised against it. Eventually, at the age of 39, Tanishaa successfully underwent the egg-freezing procedure.

Priyanka Chopra, a global star, shared on the Armchair Expert podcast that she opted to freeze her eggs in her 30s, finding it liberating. She expressed that this decision allowed her to pursue her career ambitions without feeling rushed to start a family. Chopra highlighted that she hadn't encountered the right partner for parenthood at that time, which influenced her choice. She said, "I felt such freedom, I did it in my early thirties and I could continue on an ambitious warpath, I wanted to achieve and I wanted to get to a certain place in my career. Also, I had not met the person with whom I wanted to have children."
