Kylie Jenner Admits Getting Breast Implants

Cosmetic surgeries and fillers have long been used by individuals to enhance or alter their appearance, often driven by personal insecurities or desires to conform to certain beauty standards. Moreover, Kylie Jenner's decision to openly discuss her regrets over getting breast implants at a young age represents a significant step in breaking the stigma around cosmetic surgery and fillers.

Shruti Haasan opened up to the Hindustan Times about undergoing a nose correction procedure and shared her thoughts on the need to end lies and shaming around cosmetic procedures. She expressed that actors who deny getting any work done are not being truthful, as subtle changes in appearance are common. However, she clarified that she isn't promoting cosmetic procedures but rather emphasising the importance of personal choice and acceptance. Haasan drew parallels between cosmetic procedures and other beauty practices, like colouring hair or wearing contact lenses, highlighting that it's about individual preferences.

Moreover, she stressed the significance of respecting each person's decision when it comes to cosmetic enhancements. Haasan acknowledged that people shouldn't feel obligated to get work done and should embrace their choices, whether they opt for procedures to enhance their appearance or decide not to undergo any alterations. For her, honesty was essential, and she felt the need to be open about her own journey with cosmetic procedures. Ultimately, she encouraged a culture of understanding and acceptance where people could make choices without fear of judgement or shame.

Rakhi Sawant made headlines when she appeared on the popular show Koffee With Karan and candidly stated, "Jo cheez bhagwan nahi deta wo doctor deta hai," referring to plastic surgery. She has openly admitted to undergoing breast augmentation and has never hidden her experiences with plastic surgery.

During the promotion of the 2016 film Ek Kahani Julie Ki, Sawant spoke openly to the Mumbai Mirror about her plastic surgery, asserting that if all the plastic used in Bollywood bodies were collected, it could fill three trucks outside the building. She emphasised her honesty in admitting to her procedures, setting herself apart from others who might not be as forthcoming about their cosmetic enhancements.

In her autobiography Unfinished, Priyanka Chopra revealed a personal experience with her nose surgery. In her 20s, she underwent surgery to remove a polyp in her nasal cavity, but unfortunately, the procedure did not go as expected. The doctor accidentally shaved the bridge of her nose during the polyp removal, leading to the collapse of the bridge. This unexpected outcome left her devastated and feeling like a stranger when she looked in the mirror. She shared her struggles with a changed appearance and the emotional toll it took on her self-esteem. Chopra had to undergo several corrective surgeries to address the issue, but the experience of being called "Plastic Chopra" caused further harm to her self-esteem and added to her challenges during that time.

Urfi Javed

Urfi Javed recently opened up about her journey towards self-love and discussed her experiences with getting lip surgeries. She shared that she began getting lip fillers at the age of 18 because she felt her lips were too thin and desired fuller lips. In the past, she opted for cheaper options from a clinic, but the results didn't turn out as expected, leading her to eventually dissolve the fillers. Javed emphasised that the process of dissolving the fillers was extremely painful.

However, she normalised the idea of getting fillers and surgeries, but with a cautionary note. She encouraged people to be careful when choosing clinics and doctors for such procedures. She acknowledged that lip fillers can still be a part of her journey, but she now understands the importance of moderation, knowing that "less is more" when it comes to enhancing one's appearance. Her intention was to promote safe practices and encourage others to make informed decisions about cosmetic procedures, considering what suits their face and aligns with their preferences.
