STP: As a Digital Women Award-winning content creator, how do you use technology for storytelling, activism, and community engagement?

Vinayana: As a content creator and disability rights advocate, technology and digital tools have been at the heart of my professional growth and impact.

They have not only expanded my reach but also enabled me to work independently and inclusively, breaking barriers that physical spaces often impose on people with disabilities.

Social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn have become my stage to share my voice, poetry, and advocacy for inclusion.

Through these platforms, I have been able to connect with a global audience, collaborate with brands, and participate in meaningful conversations around representation and accessibility.

Analytics tools also allow me to understand audience engagement and refine my content to make it more impactful and relatable.

Digital tools have made my creative process smoother and more efficient. They save time and effort, allowing me to focus on storytelling and advocacy.

Assistive technologies, including speech-to-text software and accessibility features on various devices, have been particularly empowering, enabling me to work comfortably and productively despite physical limitations.

Moreover, technology has helped me build professional credibility and collaborations. Virtual meetings, digital campaigns, and online interviews have made it possible for me to network with organizations and media platforms that align with my mission.

They have also opened avenues for paid partnerships, increasing my financial independence and visibility in the digital space.

In essence, technology has transformed my career from being limited by accessibility barriers to thriving in a space where creativity meets inclusion. It has been a bridge connecting my story to the world and making my voice a catalyst for change.

The growth, efficiency, and success I’ve experienced are proof that when technology is used inclusively, it doesn’t just empower individuals it empowers entire communities.

STP: Why Is emotional wellbeing important for content creators and entrepreneurs?

Vinayana: Prioritising health and emotional wellbeing is essential because creativity and productivity thrive only when the mind and body are in balance.

The entrepreneurial journey often involves long hours, uncertainty, and pressure, which can easily lead to burnout if self-care is ignored.

Taking time to rest, reflect, and recharge allows for clearer thinking, better decision-making, and more sustainable growth.

Emotional wellbeing also nurtures empathy and resilience qualities that help in building stronger connections with audiences, teams, and collaborators.

As someone who advocates for inclusion and self-awareness, I believe that caring for one’s mental and physical health isn’t a luxury it’s a necessity for purpose-driven and impactful entrepreneurship.

STP: What Were Some Key Challenges You Faced While Building Your Platform as a Content Creator?

Vinayana: One of the biggest challenges I faced while building my platform as a content creator and disability advocate was accessibility both physical and digital.

Many opportunities, events, and collaborations were not designed with inclusivity in mind, which often limited my participation.

Another challenge was overcoming societal bias and proving that disability and professionalism can coexist powerfully.

In the early stages, managing multiple roles creating content, handling outreach, and negotiating collaborations without a team was also overwhelming.

Additionally, financial instability and lack of accessible infrastructure made growth slower.

However, each obstacle became a lesson in adaptability. I learned to use digital tools creatively, build networks online, and turn these challenges into narratives that inspire others to see ability beyond disability.

STP: As an entrepreneur and creator, what's a motto you live by?

Vinayana: As an entrepreneur and content creator, the one motto I live by is: “Turn your limitations into your language.”

For me, this means transforming every barrier or challenge especially those related to disability into a story, a message, or a creative expression that inspires change.

Instead of seeing obstacles as endpoints, I see them as opportunities to innovate, to create something meaningful, and to push conversations about inclusion forward.

This motto reminds me that authenticity and resilience are my greatest strengths. My journey from learning to type with my nose to becoming a digital creator and advocate has taught me that success isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence, purpose, and the courage to keep showing up as yourself.
