Here are some excerpts from the interview
What roles and responsibilities do you play at PrimeDesk?
I am the founder of PrimeDesk, a company that revolutionizes how businesses select and occupy workspaces. My entrepreneurial journey, marked by resilience, began at 17 when I entered the hospitality industry, eventually working with top global celebrities. Overcoming countless challenges, I founded PrimeDesk, helping businesses find the perfect office spaces. In addition to my business endeavours, I co-founded the Touch a Life Foundation, providing educational scholarships to underprivileged girls. I am a TEDx speaker, philanthropist, and living proof that any dream can become a reality with determination.
How did you use digital platforms and tools to build your business?
Technology drives PrimeDesk’s success by streamlining operations, enhancing customer experiences, and scaling offerings efficiently. From the start, we embraced digital tools to manage client interactions, property listings, and real-time updates.
Lightweight, centrally hosted tools help us assess client needs quickly and propose workspace solutions that maximize functionality and ensure faster turnarounds. Image cataloguing enables clients to visualize workspaces before curated visits, shortening decision-making cycles and boosting satisfaction.
Additionally, we leverage digital resources to track real estate trends, predict market demands and offer data-driven insights to clients. Excel-based systems automate follow-ups and feedback, enabling personalized service at scale. By integrating technology into every facet of our business, PrimeDesk stands out in a competitive market, delivering seamless, future-proofed solutions.
How do you envision your future with PrimeDesk?
PrimeDesk is positioned to tap into the growing demand for flexible and hybrid workspaces, especially in the post-pandemic world. The global coworking market is expected to reach $15.03 billion by 2025, and PrimeDesk plans to capture a significant portion of this through strategic partnerships with leading developers and MNCs.
We plan to scale operations across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India, leveraging technology to offer virtual space optimization and design solutions. Our target is to double our client base within two years and increase our market share by expanding into international markets such as Southeast Asia.
What does your business model look like?
PrimeDesk operates on a commission-based business model where we receive a percentage of the total lease value for every workspace we help a client acquire. We also offer premium consulting services for space optimization, corporate office design, and real estate portfolio management.
Our additional revenue streams come from long-term partnership agreements with coworking space providers, property developers, and corporate real estate teams. By providing end-to-end solutions for workspace needs, we ensure consistent and scalable revenue while maintaining flexibility to adapt to market changes.
Can you share the funding you started PrimeDesk with?
We started with INR 1 Lakh to build this venture, where we assist multinational corporations, startups, and small businesses in finding customized office spaces tailored to their unique needs.
What are the key challenges you faced in this journey?
Building PrimeDesk was not without its hurdles. One of the biggest challenges was overcoming the fear of failure after my earlier business ventures didn’t succeed. Starting in a competitive, male-dominant real estate market with no formal background in the industry added additional pressure.
I had to quickly adapt, learn, and stay resilient. Another challenge was establishing credibility among larger corporate clients as a relatively new player in the industry. However, I focused on building a strong network and proving PrimeDesk's value through consistent, reliable results. Managing resources and scaling operations without compromising service quality has also been an ongoing challenge, but with an optimal process design and strategic planning, I was able to make PrimeDesk stand unwithered.
