A video doing rounds on social media shows how a woman is able to make roti on top of a car under the sun. The clip has been shared by a Twitter user Nilamadhab Panda. It shows a woman flattening the dough on the rolling board kept over the car bonnet. There is another woman accompanying her. Later, the woman places the flattened piece on the car bonnet in place of a tawa. It gets exposed to the sunlight and gets cooked.

"I don't imagine they're going to eat it or make it a habit. It's just a bunch of people tired of the heat making the best of the situation, not scientists figuring out the best material to make rotis", wrote one user.

"Why couldn't they do the same over their head, if sun heat responsible for this? or keep a tava under sun light and try the same? its the car banet which is getting heated up more because of its material", wrote another.
"I think its better to get a solar cooker its very easy to cook within minutes not to wait for hours to cook.", a third user wrote.

The town Sonepur discussed in the tweet is in Odisha. The recent surge in day temperatures in Odisha has compelled the authorities to shut schools and colleges across the state which means that offline classes for all UG and PG students have been suspended.
