The internet was flooded with videos and reels made out of this one song through most of 2022. At one point people were tired of listening to it, but a fresh reminder of the song came up when a video went viral that featured a man singing the song while playing his acoustic guitar on the side of the road during the night while two police officers are ardently listening to him and smiling. Who doesn't like to listen to some soothing music at the end of the day?
A singer called Shiv posted a video of himself singing Kesariya on the side of the road and two police officers listening to him while his friends are supporting him and singing along. On Monday, the official Instagram account of Mumbai Police shared the same video and captioned it as "Mumbaikar 🤝 Mumbai Police - a great 'love storiyan' indeed!" since then the video has blown up and been shared by other celebrities.
Anushka Sharma shared the video on her Instagram story tagging the Mumbai Police account and a red heart with it. Not just her the music composer of the very song Kesariya Pritam himself shared the video on his Instagram story and wrote "music connects". The video is beautiful as it shows the real emotions of a singer with a tiny but worthy audience. The police officers are on their toes all day and are often exhausted by their regular routines, so listening to this man and his honeyed voice probably made their day better.
An Instagram user commented on the video, "AAAHHHH Man I love Bombay and the police there! Y'all make us feel so safe and secure! ✨", while another user wrote, "MUMBAI POLICE deserve this! Also, as our city got different cultures, I hope every officer will try to make more peaceful environment around them and will try their best to make people feel safe. Proud of our Mumbai police ✌🏻".
Shiv, the singer in the video also commented about his experience of being an outsider in the city of Mumbai, wrote, "The people were very nice to me….and didn’t think that i ll get this nice experience in mumbai….Thankyou for your service mumbai police❤️"
