As people light diyas and candles inside and outside of their homes during Diwali, fire stations receive a lot of calls. Additionally, people explode rockets and skyshots, which might cause fire incidents if they are not launched in a secure manner in a public space. Although it's dangerous to light firecrackers close to moving vehicles, the popular video depicts fireworks going off from the back of a moving vehicle, with sparks landing on nearby vehicles.

Firecrackers Bursting From Moving Car In Gurgaon:

The black car can be seen giving off an explosive display as it looks to be travelling in the direction of DLF Phase-III while exploding firecrackers several feet into the air. A person travelling behind the automobile recorded the incident and posted the video on social media, where it quickly went viral. The incident happened on Diwali night (October 24).

The video has received millions of views since it was published, and after several users complained, the Gurgaon Police took action. The footage was reported to the police, who then opened an investigation at the DLF Phase-III police station. Police were able to locate the automobile with the use of CCTV footage and a video. The driver has been detained by the Gurgaon police after being identified by them. The owner, however, asserted that he had just sold the vehicle to another person. However, according to recent reports, the police have detained three young men named Nakul, Jatin, and Krishna.

Nishant Kumar Yadav, the district collector and deputy commissioner for Gurgaon, has prohibited the production, sale, and use of all firecrackers besides green ones before Diwali. According to the official decision, the prohibition would be in place over the whole Gurgaon district and last until January 31, 2023.
