Elderly Bestfriends Reunite After Years, Wholesome Video Goes Viral

I, for one, find it unbelievably hard to maintain friendships. It takes effort and commitment to building lasting friendships. But I am learning to give in time every now and then to call my friends and reconnect with them. Teaching the very same lesson, a video of a reunion of two elderly women who have been friends for over 80 years has surfaced on the internet.

Posted by an Instagram user, Mukil Menon, the video shows grey-haired women besties greeting each other with smiles while holding each other's hands. The wholesome video of two women 'exchanging nostalgia for decades' is winning hearts online.

Along with the video, Menon wrote, "A friendship of over 80 years. My granny would always tell me that she wants to see her bestie and so I made the two buddies meet each other. Here is how they met and exchanged nostalgia of decades." The two in the video later are seen exchanging jokes and laughing their hearts out in the company of each other.

The video opens with an old lady stepping out of a car and entering her best friend’s house to give her a surprise. Later, the two can be seen catching up excitedly and engaging in heartfelt conversations. They also posed for pictures together.

The video was shared on November 1 and since then has accumulated over 10,000 likes. While it has left many teary-eyed, people also took to the comment section to share their reactions. A user wrote, “These cute muthashi’s are living Angels. Mukil Menon You are blessed to witness their pure souls filled with innocent love. 80 years of friendship!!!”

Another user commented, “Aww this is precious! Can only imagine how they must be feeling.”
