As per Guinness World Records, her powerful belch surpassed the earlier mark of 107 decibels (dB) established by Elisa Cagnoni from Italy in 2009. This accomplishment was achieved by Winter on April 28 this year.

While the majority of individuals around the globe might feel self-conscious about their tendency to burp, Winter is an exception to this.

According to Guinness World Records, her belch surpassed the volume of a blender (70-80 dB), an electric handheld drill (90-95 dB), and even certain motorcycles at maximum acceleration (100-110 dB).

In order to attain the record, Winter had to produce the burp within an anechoic chamber, similar to the acoustic environments found in sound-recording studios. To accomplish this, she chose to demonstrate her burping prowess on-air during the "Elliot in the Morning" show at the iHeartRadio station's studios.

Winter shared that she relied on an iced coffee and breakfast sandwich from Dunkin' along with a beer as a contingency plan to complete the attempt.

Although Winter can achieve loud burps by consuming spicy foods, soda, and alcohol, she's also capable of producing burps using only a small amount of water. When attempting to create powerful burps, she explained that she takes a deep inhalation and then skillfully transforms it into something extraordinary and enchanting.

Longest Burp Ever

Winter shared that her longest burp lasted approximately nine seconds, an impressive duration, although it falls considerably short of the world record for the longest burp held by Michele Forgione (Italy) at 1 minute 13 seconds in 2009.

"However, my goal isn't to achieve the longest burp," Winter emphasized. "My aim is to have the loudest burp," she added with enthusiasm, "I am loud and proud!"

Women Shamed For Natural Body Processes

Women across the world have been shamed repeatedly and constantly for the natural body processes of burping and farting. For these are considered more 'masculine' and only the virtue of a man. What we forget amongst all of the deep-rooted patriarchal mindsets is that women also possess a human body and are, therefore, entitled to these processes.
