US: Naked Woman Gets Out Of Car On Highway, Open Fires Non-Stop

In a recently reported incident from California, a woman stepped out of her car naked and open-fired on cars. No casualties are reported from the incident.

People driving on the highway reported the incident to the police from the site itself. After several calls made to the police, the woman was taken into custody along with her weapon.

Naked Woman Open Fires In California

On July 25, in San Fransisco, California, a rare incident unfolded where a woman stepped out of a car naked and started firing from a gun she possessed on the Bay Bridge of San Fransisco. California Highway Patrol officers immediately responded to a report on 911 by other drivers on the highway.

The incident occurred during rush hour around 4 PM on the I-80 span of the highway. According to the complaint, the woman halted her vehicle in the middle of the lane and stepped out of it naked, carrying a gun and open firing in the air and on the adjacent cars. 

As per the reports, the woman had earlier halted the car in the middle of the lane with a knife in her hand shouting incoherently. She then got back into her car and started driving towards Oakland. Upon reaching a toll plaza, the woman again stepped out of the car, this time with not a single piece of clothing on her body and fired a gun.

The video of the woman was captured where she can be seen walking on the road naked. The CHP officers arrived on the scene on time and de-escalated the situation by convincing the woman to hand over her weapon and move into custody. There were no injuries reported.

The CHP officer, Andrew Barclay expressed his gratitude that there had been no harm and appreciated the quick response of the CHP officers in successfully controlling the situation, while he also emphasised the uniqueness of this incident finding it hard to compare it to any other incident of a similar nature.

The woman was sent to a local hospital where she was given required medical attention and psychiatric evaluation. 

While the reason behind the woman's actions is unknown, the CHP officers are investigating to search for the motive behind the incident at Bay Bridge.
