A Total Miracle: Hollywood Star Hilary Swank Announces She Is Pregnant With Twins

Million Dollar Baby star Hilary Swank announced that she and her husband Philip Schneider are expecting twins. The 48-year-old actor revealed the information on the morning television program Good Morning America.

During an interview on Good Morning America, Swank revealed, “I’m going to be a mom - and not just of one, but of two”. Swank shared that she was going to be a first-time mother to twins and said, “It’s so nice to be able to talk about it, share it”.

Swank also took to Instagram and shared a video of herself holding her belly and pointing toward it with the caption, “Coming soon… DOUBLE feature!”

She further spoke about her pregnancy during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, shortly after her appearance on Good Morning America. Swank revealed she was in her second trimester and said she was “feeling great right now”.

She added that twins run in her and her husband’s family and described it as “such a blessing” and "a total miracle”.

Hilary Swank and her husband, entrepreneur Philip Schneider, met on a blind date in 2016. The date was set up by actor Misha Collins’s wife Vicki and a close friend. Two years later, the couple got married in California. Before her marriage to Schneider, she was married to actor Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007.

The actor and film producer Swank stars in the television drama series Alaska Daily. Swank also serves as a co-producer for the show as well. The show will premiere today, October 6, 2022.

Swank made her television debut in 1991 for her role in the television series Evening Shade. Her appearance in the 1992 television series Camp Wilder became one of her notable roles. That year, she also made her film debut with a minor role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Swank is known for her roles in Boys Don't Cry, The Next Karate Kid, Beverly Hills, and Million Dollar Baby. She has won two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Critics' Choice Movie Awards, and was named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in the Time 100 list in 2005.
