In yet another heartwarming moment, students at Providence College in Rhode Island, USA, surprised their security guard, James, with a wholesome gift. A student told the security guard “You told us a while ago that you wanted to see your family in Nigeria that you haven't seen in a long time, so we came together and spread the word, and we started a GoFundMe because we take care of our own because that's what we do (at Providence College). They've done that for me, we've done that for each other, so now we're doing it for you. You're part of the family, so our gift to you is a trip to Nigeria.”

"We Love You James!"

In this short video, James is seen gasping and he then kneels on the floor and gets emotional on receiving such news from these students. He breaks down and continues to say “I don't know guys, I don't think I deserve this. What i'm trying to do is the right thing and doing right by you guys. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart, god will protect you and make sure you achieve your goals.” And as he starts crying we can hear students in the background say “We love you James!” in unison.

The page also mentioned freshman Brandon Reichert who said “Once we learned that James had not seen his family in over a decade, that is what kickstarter this for us. We take care of our own and we firmly believe James is one of our own.” Social media users are in awe of this gesture and emotional  on seeing the security guard's raw reaction when he receives this news. The students raised $26,000 of a $3,500 goal. One user said, “This is the most amazing thing I have seen. I am in tears over their generosity. Don't let anyone say young people are too self-absorbed.”
