Why Am I A Feminist: Amrita Tripathi

Amrita Tripathi is a journalist who writes contemporary fiction. Her novels The Sibius Knot and Broken News deal with some of our darker urban realities, including sexual harassment and violence. She is passionate about gender rights and gender equality, often terms like-minded souls living in India gender warriors, and thinks that things are changing, but sometimes need a big push along.

Tripathi finds it fascinating that younger women put up with less crap, and tend to fight for equality, but shy away from the term 'feminism'. She hopes to explore that further and wants to hear from many of you here on SheThePeople.TV.
