Sharmela Puri on empowering & expressing with jewellery

Sharmela Puri has grown with her art in the tiny lanes of Mumbai's Zaveri Bazaar or jeweller's market. The woman who grew up with a silver spoon, had luxury at every bend, she made indulgence her business and gems her passion. Puri, who shuttles between Mumbai and Dubai has showcased her work from Spain to Singapore and now is establishing her designs in Mumbai. In a conversation with Radhika Sharma, Puri shares how being a designer isn't about being in the 'it' circuit but a meaningful form of empowerment and expression.
