Founder of The Swaddle, Karla Bookman says resources for mothers and children in India have a massive gap and platforms are needed to address the needs of that market. Her digital parenting guide is nearly two years old and is expanding into mother-child events as well.
Bookman thought of the idea of her startup when her baby was around six months old. She herself had so many questions but no platforms that addressed them. Not everyone in the family or the friends circle was able to share solutions or experiences. Digital was the way to go. That’s when she started looking around for a resource. And The Swaddle was born.
Now two years into this, Bookman shares her passion and why drove her to keep going at her concept and idea. She shares her business philosophy with all other entrepreneurs.
