Wife Builds Temple For Dead Husband: Padmavathi, Andhra Pradesh based-woman, has built a temple in the memory of her husband who passed away four years ago in an accident. She offers prayers to the marble idol she erected in the form of her husband.

In an interview, she revealed that she built the temple following her husband's appearance in her dream after a few days of her death. According to her, the husband asked her to build a temple for him and the dutiful wife did that. She also performs pujas on special occasions including the late husband's birthday. She also serves free food to the poor in the temple she built for her husband every full moon. Her son is also proud to be born to the couple, as per a report.

Padmavathi hails from a very conservative family. She also said that her husband was a God-like figure to her even when he was alive. She has also seen her mother worship her dad and so, this came naturally to her.

Srinivas Murthy is another such spouse who loves his wife so much that he went to the extent of installing a life-size statue of his wife in the living room if his new house. The businessman from Karnataka had lost his wife in an accident three years ago. Last year, he hosted a housewarming ceremony on the occasion of shifting into a new house and installed the life-size statue to ensure that she was present with him on this momentous occasion.
