Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Taimur was recently seen telling the paparazzi to turn off their cameras before being pulled away by his mother. The young nawab was apparently tired of having the cameras following him all the time, so much so that he took it upon himself to request them to stop snapping his pictures. But will they listen to the young kid? Are paps done with their obsession with star kids just yet? And what about viewers who consume viral images and videos of star kids? Are they willing to let Taimur have the freedom of not being followed around by the cameras?

Five-year-old Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi is among the most favourite as well as famous star kids of all times. Ever since his birth, the media and fans have been crushing over the young nawab and have been obsessed with his cute pictures and videos. However, this unhealthy obsession seems to be taking a toll on the young kid now. In a recent viral video, Taimur can be seen asking the paparazzi to put away the camera for good. In the same video, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s younger son Jeh was also seen riding his toy car at the couple’s residence. Both the children were also accompanied by their nannies. What good has this obsession with the star kids yielded so far? The constant presence of paps is an unavoidable part of the world that star kids like Taimur inhabit. They do not know what it feels like to play, go to school or visit their relatives without being followed by the camera and people behind them who urge them to glance back again and again. The paps have their eyes on each of their activities like desi aunties in order to get one viral video or picture that might help them get the eyeballs of the audience.

Isn’t it time that we stop meddling in the lives of young children, for five seconds of curiosity and rush, and let them enjoy some privacy? Little kids waving their hands in a random way cannot be major headlines across news channels. There are other pertinent issues that need our attention. There are other ways to keep ourselves entertained.

The only way to discourage the paparazzi from following these children around is to cut back on content related to star kids. Do not watch videos featuring these children. Don’t like the pictures shares by paps on social media. Once the viewership on content related to star kids goes down, perhaps the paps will stop hounding them nonstop.
