Wrestler Sonam Malik claimed the gold medal in the 62kg weight category, and moved closer to the Olympic selections.
She first gained prominence for featuring in the music video Bom Diggy Diggy from the 2018 film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, alongside Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh.Â
Swimmers and wrestlers continued their domination at the South Asian Games on Sunday with Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik finishing top in the 62kg category with a gold medal.
The championships is scheduled to be held in Jalandhar, Punjab from November 29 to December 1, which will feature over 500 wrestlers vying for top honours.
