The film revolves around the journey of Mithali Raj from being an 8-year-old kid with a dream to become a cricketing legend. Pannu took to her social media and announced the trailer release date along with a new poster of the film.
Tapsee Pannu, reportedly trained under Nooshin Al Khadeer, a former cricketer and a friend of Mithali to get the character right.

Taapsee Pannu’s caption can be seen as her reply to the recent Income Tax Department raid at her house which she had earlier called an attempt to silence her.
