As per a study conducted in 2018, gender bias kills 2,39,000 girls every year in India. Moreover, the figure doesn’t include girls who are aborted simply for their gender.

Women have to compete among themselves, because there is a limited space for their gender on top. It is this space which needs to expand. It is the mindset that encourages hostility among women which needs to go.
