Jatara police station in-charge Trivendra Trivedi said that the deceased consumed some toxic substance at her home. Following the same, she was admitted to the district hospital when her condition deteriorated.

The rape survivor’s husband, a 32-year-old labourer, reportedly refused to cut some trees from the accused’s farm as he wasn’t feeling well enough to work.

According to the survivor, she was walking to a bank along with her child when a few men surrounded them and abducted them.
