Who Is Pori Moni: Bangladeshi actor Shansunnahar who goes by the stage name Pori Moni is a popular name in the country's entertainment Industry.

Apart from her work in film and television projects, the actor also has many modelling credits in her name.

• Starting her modelling career right after finishing school in 2012, Moni was featured in many popular advertisements in Bangladesh.
• She made her debut in a Bengali film named Bholabasha Simahin in 2015.
• Pori Moni went on to do many films after that which included remakes of popular Tamil and Telugu movies.
• Aro Bhalobashbo Tomay, Nogor Mastan, Pure Joy Mon and Mahua Sindori are some of her films.
• Pori Moni also has over ten credits in television dramas including Keno Miche Nokkhotrera, Kotha Dilam, Oshomapto Valobasha and many others.
• In December 2020, Forbes magazine listed her name in Asia's 100 Digital Stars list.
• Pori Moni lost her parents when she was just a child. She was then brought up by her grandparents in Pirojpur, Bangladesh.
• The actor got married to Kamruzzaman Roni, who is a theatre director, in March 2020. Before that, she had been married once before with Saurav Kabeer in 2012. The couple divorced each other later.
• Moni had also been engaged to Radio Jockey named Tamim Hasan but they broke up before marriage.
• Moni was set to make her Bengali film debut with a film named Rana Plaza which was based on the Rana Plaza disaster in 2013. However, the film got shelved after the Bangladesh Film Censor Board denied certification to it.
• In 2018, Pori Moni starred in a short film directed by Giasuddin Selim named Preeti. The film got released on an OTT platform.
