Nazim is an actor and producer in Tamil and Malayalam language films. Before making her debut in the film industry, Nazim worked as an anchor on the Malayalam television channel Asianet. Even though her first film as a lead actor in the Malayalam film industry was the 2013 movie Maad Dad, she actually started working in films as a child artist, beginning her journey in 2006 with Palunku.
The actor met Fahadh Faasil on the set of the film Bangalore Days, in which they played the role of husband and wife. Nazim and Faasil got engaged in February 2014. The couple got married on August21, 2024, and revealed that their parents played an important role in their marriage.
However, when Fahadh and Nazriya revealed their marriage they faced criticism due to their significant age difference. At the time, Fahadh was 32 and Nazriya was just 19. Despite the online backlash, the couple stayed composed and handled the situation with grace.
