Who Is Areej Abdullah? Know More About The Saudi Actor And Singer

Who Is Areej Abdullah? The actor and singer from Saudi Arabia,  Areej Abdullah was found dead in her home in Cairo in Egypt on December 27. She was first found by her house help in the morning. The post-mortem examination states that the actor died of sudden pulmonary embolism, which occurs due to a blood clot in an artery in the lungs.

The house help found Areej Abdullah in her bed and she was not breathing. The help then alerted officials and the prosecutor-general began investigating the case, soon after she was declared dead. Her body was sent for autopsy. The forensic experts said that the death was caused by pulmonary embolism.

The initial investigation in the case report states that the actor had poor health of late and was released from the hospital last week after spending some time there. Her death was confirmed on the social media platform, Twitter, by people from the entertainment industry like Saudi screenwriter and actor Mohammed Salama today.

Who Is Areej Abdullah?

Areej Abdullah has released several singles and written lyrics for one. One of her songs was also composed by Prince Saud Bin Abdulmajid. The actor and aspiring singer has also participated in the Alexandria Festival through the Culture and Arts Association.

A week before her sudden death, she had interacted with fans on social media and hinted at releasing a new single. The actor died of natural causes and permission has been granted to transport her body back to her home in Saudi Arabia.

The 24-year-old was the daughter of the late Saudi singer Abdullah Muhammad. The Middleeast.in.24 reported that in one of the interviews on Rotna Khaleejia channel in 2019, she had spoken about her father and said, "My father, the human artist, the late Abdullah Muhammad is the pioneers of his generation, the first to sing outside the Kingdom, and he was a source of inspiration for many artists. He lived his life for art."
