Halo is based on the same-named popular video game franchise owned by Xbox Game Studios. Kyle Killen and Steven Kane created the series. Pablo Schreiber, Jen Taylor, Natascha McElhone, Danny Sapani, and Indian veteran actor Shabana Azmi will all play significant roles in the Halo TV series. Steven Spielberg is in charge of the show's production.

Halo Plot:

The show’s official synopsis mentions that it is set in the 26th century where humanity fights against an alien race called Covenant. Halo will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

The film's plot will revolve around The Covenant, a theocratic-military alliance of various advanced alien space cultures, which is at war with the United Nations Space Command. It will also detail the events preceding Halo Infinite, as well as Spartan's(Spartan-117) first foe, Insurrection, whose secrets will be revealed as the game progresses.

Halo Cast:

Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a tall, genetically created supersoldier known as "Spartan-117," will be played by Pablo Schreiber. Natascha McElhone will play Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey/Cortana, a UNSC (United Nations Space Command) scientist and developer of the Spartan-II Project. Yerin Ha will portray Kwan Ha Boo, an insurrectionist teen from the outer colony planet Madrigal, and Charlie Murphy will portray Makee, a Covenant member who hates her own people. Shabana Azmi (Office of Naval Intelligence) will play Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Director of ONI.
