Witness
Rohini plays a street sweeper in this social drama who loses her son to manual scavenging. The mother's defiant struggle to bring justice to her dead son is the main focus of the movie. Shraddha Srinath, Azhagam Perumal, Shanmuga Raja, and Subatra Robert are other cast members. Deepak, who also serves as the movie's cinematographer, is in charge of directing it. The film will be released on December 9 on SonyLiv.
Blurr
Ajay Bahl is the director of the movie, which is the first to be produced under Taapsee's label Outsiders Films. Blurr follows Gayatri, a lady who moves with her husband, Neil, to a misty, mountainous town. Gautami, the blind twin sister of Gayatri, appears to have committed suicide. Neil tries to talk Gayatri out of it, but she isn't persuaded and wants to look into how she died. Gayatri starts to lose her vision as she interviews locals and investigates Gautami's murky past. The film will get its release on December 9 on ZEE5.
Rathasaatchi
This film, with a screenplay by Jeyamohan and a director debut by Rafiq Ismail, has Kanna Ravi in the lead role. The 1980s setting of Rathasaatchi demonstrates how the Naxalbari movement's followers fought the restrictions placed on them. The short story Kathaigal from Jeyamohan's book Venkadal was adapted for the screen. The film is an aha original and will be released on December 9.
Doctor G
Anubhuti Kashyap is the director of this Ayushmann Khurrana-starring ">film, which tells the tale of post-graduate physician Uday Gupta, who enrols in gynaecology because there are no seats available in orthopaedics, his preferred field. Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah, and Sheeba Chaddha are other cast members. It will have its OTT release on December 11 on Netflix.
CAT
The Balwinder Singh Janjua-directed movie follows two parallel timeframes in Punjab as it develops. Former police informant Gurnaam Singh, played by Randeep Hooda, is drawn back into the game after his younger brother is busted in a drug ring. He enters a shadowy world of politics, corruption, and crime to bring an effective drug cartel to justice in order to protect his brother's future. It releases on December 09 on Netflix.
