Remya Suresh viral video controversy: Malayalam actor Remya Suresh recently took to her Facebook account to share her grievance over an alleged pornographic video that was going viral. The viral morphed video has been attributed to her. Suresh has however said that while the woman featured in the video does look similar to her, it is not her.

On Facebook, actor Remya Suresh said that it was shocking to see the girl in the video because she looked very similar to her. “Surprisingly, her facial features match with mine,” the actor said. Suresh added that people who know her well in real life will be able to tell the difference but others probably won’t be able to do the same.

• On June 1, Suresh shared in a Facebook video that she was truly horrified and embarrassed when a friend first informed her about the video.
• The actor also said that she was taken by surprise when she saw the girl’s face in the video as they looked very similar to each other.
• Suresh said that she has been getting many messages on her Facebook page regarding the viral video. “I am afraid others won’t be able to tell the difference,” the Nizhal actor noted.
• The actor also stated she was worried about having to clarify her position to her friends. “I am afraid of what I will tell my friends when they call me after watching that video. Because at first glance, the girl in the video looks like me,” the Malayalam actor revealed.
• After she came across the video, Suresh immediately filed a complaint first with the Superintendent of Police in Alappuzha and later with the Cyber Cell.
• The actor said that the officers were very supportive of her when she went to file the complaint. She said that she felt brave and confident after filing a case because of the officials’ encouragement.
• Suresh also revealed that the police have collected data of the WhatsApp group which shared the content. The group admin and the person who shared it on the platform have also been detected.
• The actor thanked her husband and family for their support during the scandal. “I know that the person in the video is not me. And my husband also shares my confidence, which gives me courage” she said.
• Remya Suresh also mentioned how the lives of many innocent people have been ruined by things like this. “I have reached where I am today, without making any sort of compromises. So please don’t think of me like that and message me,” she said. The actor will continue to pursue the matter legally.
