Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have grabbed headlines and social media trends spots after the reports of their upcoming wedding. The couple is yet to confirm if they are actually getting married in the month of April, 2022. Both Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been vocal about their relationship in the media. During the recent press events, both actors revealed their plans to get married to each other in the near future.

According to several media reports, the preparations for the wedding have already started. Bhatt and Kapoor are soon to be seen as co-stars in Ayan Mukherji directional Brahmastra later this year. They made their relationship pub in 2018 when they showed up together for Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor's wedding.

The wedding festivities will reportedly take place between April 13 to April 17 and both families' members have been asked to keep their schedule clear during this time. Pinkvilla reported that Alia Bhatt is going to wear a Manish Malhotra and Sabhyasachi designer outfits on her wedding and other celebrations. The wedding is supposed to be a close family affair and the couple will later throw a reception party for the industry members at the end of April. The wedding is reported to take place on April 17 or April 14.

Ever since the actors started doing interviews during and after the pandemic, they have been asked about their relationship and their prospective wedding plans. Ranbir Kapoor during an interview surprised his fans by saying that if not for the pandemic, he would have married Alia Bhatt. Then started the questions about the new wedding date set by the couple. Bhatt was also the same questions during the promotions of her film Gangubai Kathiawadi. Recently, it was reported that the couple will tie the knot in the RK House in Chembur. It is the same place where Ranbir Kapoor's parents Neetu and Rishi Kapoor got married. The same was however rubbished by Randir Kapoor who lives in the RK House. The wedding will be reportedly held following the Punjabi traditions.

According to reports, the wedding invitations have not been distributed yet. The guest list is said to be strictly family members and close friends. Pinkvilla reported that Ranbir Kapoor has invited all the technicians he has worked with over the years to attend his wedding. They also include the hair and make up professionals, assistants among others. It is also expected that both bride and groom's close friends such as Ayan Mukherji, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Karan Johar, Akanksha Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and others will be present at the wedding.
