Actor Rambha Met With Accident, Daughter Hospitalised

Indian actor Rambha met with a car accident while returning home after picking up her children from school in Canada. Everyone escaped the accident with minor injuries except her younger daughter Sasha. Sasha has been hospitalised following the accident. The actor took to Instagram and asked her fans to pray for her daughter's life. 

She shared a few pictures on Instagram and wrote, “Our car was hit by another car at an intersection way back from picking kids from school! “Me with kids and my nanny “All of us are safe with minor injuries my little Sasha is still in the hospital bad days bad time please pray for us your prayers means a lot #pray #celebrity #accident.”

The images uploaded by Rambha show a damaged car that was hit by another car at an intersection. Another picture is of her daughter in the hospital bed. 

Sasha is her middle child born in 2015. Rambha tied the knot with Canada-based businessman Ithiran in 2010. The couple has three children together. She gave birth to her first child, daughter Laanya in 2011. Rambha and her spouse Ithiran had their third child on 23 September 2018. 

The actor shared an update where she thanked her fans and everybody that prayed for her and her family. She said, "I have no words to express my happiness and joy that you all support me." Rambha added that her children are safe and that her daughter Sasha is back home.

Soon after Rambha's post, comments started pouring in, which also included prayers from celebrities. Actor Sridevi Vijaykumar commented on the actor’s post, saying, “Omg… glad you guys are safe.. take care ra..sending prayers and love.” 

Another actor, Vikas Kalantri wrote, “My God. Take care, please. Love and prayers.

Rambha has been a superstar in the film industry during her time. She was born as Vijayalakshmi Yeedi and shared screen space with India’s top stars including Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Jackie Shroff, and Ajay Devgn. She also had a successful career in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam films. She worked with south actors like Rajinikanth, Ajith, Vijay, Salman Khan, Chiranjeevi, and Mammootty among others.
