Ram Setu, the final film of the year for Akshay Kumar, starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha, is now prepared for release on an OTT platform. The film was released in theatres on October 25th.
The movie, which was directed by Abhishek Sharma, is about Ram Setu, also called Adam's Bridge or Rama's Bridge, a chain of uninhabited limestone shoals that stretches from the north-western coast of Sri Lanka to the south-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu in India. In the Hindu mythology epic Ramayana, Lord Rama's army built the bridge and also helped free his wife Sita from the clutches of Lankan king Ravan.
Ram Setu Plot:
In Ram Setu, an atheist archaeologist who became a believer faces a race against time to establish the veracity of the legendary Ram Setu's existence before evil forces demolish the important piece of India's cultural heritage.

The film features Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushratt Bharuccha, Nassar, and Pravesh Rana in significant roles. Ram Setu, according to Kumar, is a movie with roots in Indian history, and he's happy that its release on OTT will help it gain more viewers.

Ram Setu Box Office collection:
Ram Setu, which reportedly cost Rs. 150 crore to produce, received poor reviews when it debuted and failed at the box office, taking in only Rs. 93 crore while it was in theatres.
Ram Setu OTT Release Date:
Ram Setu was produced by Amazon Studios, Kumar's Cape of Good Films, Lyca Productions, and Abundantia Entertainment. Theater distribution was handled by Zee Studios. The film is now slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on December 23. The viewers who missed it in theatres can now watch it on their own screens starting on December 23rd.
